CR25 Photoshoot જ⁀➴

For the CR25 campaign, I had the opportunity again to join the photoshoot site! This time was a little challenging as the creative director, Jazz was not in the country – therefore the creative team worked remotely and planned the shoot with the creatives outside of the brand. The Fruity Booty team who joined the shoot was also small, only 3 people including me – which made my responsibility and contribution more significant than previous shoots. I was in charge of bringing in all the props, lingerie, and extra clothing for styling which was a super important task! (I had to carry around the heavy bag in Tottenham Court Road where I went to pick up a vinyl for the prop in the rain, which was not very fun)

Here’s one of the props the vinyl was used for: a hairdryer!

I also helped Isabel, a creative director on-site covering for Jazz with arranging this token made of ribbons. It was great working with someone outside of the Fruity team, and she thanked me later in the Valentine’s Day event which I was very happy about – I didn’t know she found me helpful!

At the photo shoot, my job was to take behind the scene photos and extra content for socials, keep the clothing pieces organised, and support anyone with anything they need to ensure smooth workflow. Behind the scene images turned out great, so much better than I expected! The team really liked it, and the photos were used numerous times on Instagram, mailers, ads, etc which I was proud of and felt rewarding. Through this photoshoot, I think I have contributed in a more creative way than ever – I’m very satisfied as my resolution for this term was to participate in the creative aspect of the brand more.

However, I still find it very awkward and lack courage when approaching people — this time, I had to take close-up photos of the models holding tokens. It took time to approach and ask them if I could take a photo, which I want to become more smooth at.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with the outcome and am grateful that I could participate again! Being at the photo shoot studio always excites me, and seeing the lingerie worn by models, materialising the sample images we have been working on feels rewarding. I’ve been asked to take more photos with my digicam, for example taking a flat lay image of the swimwear samples and scenes at the Valentine’s Day event. I’m very glad that the team likes my Digicam images, it feels recognised but it also feels like my photography skill has improved! I’m interested in photography more and I wish to learn how I could improve and gain re-touching skills too.
