< Marketing: Gifting to influencers >

I helped with the sending out of gifts to Australian influencers, prior to our campaign/potential pop-up in Australia, by ordering the products from the warehouse to be shipped to them. Thinking about how the orders I place will arrive at them, I felt a little nervous as it could directly influence the reputation of the brand to them, who are significant from the marketing perspective. ( I heard at the office that when they are in a slump – or when the sales performance is not very well, what brings them up is gifting to the influencers.) I felt a sense of responsibility through this process which made me feel a little stressed: especially because I wanted to do all the tasks well.

< Sample Fitting Notes >

I helped take notes during the sample fitting for the CR25 collection, and I enjoyed being part of the discussion. It allowed me to touch base on the depth, thought, and commitment they put into every product: considering the customers’ favourites and their expectations, adjusting the size and fit, the occasion they would wear, and keeping their standard.

< Pop-Up Graphics >

There were a lot of graphic design tasks that had to be done for the pop-up such as the flyposters, paid ads, vinyl, and merch. The whole process felt a little hectic because the deadlines were soon and Meen, the graphic designer, was in Korea for her holiday – the time difference became an obstacle for smooth communication. However, I can imagine that this could happen often once I actually start working (especially at a bigger company) therefore it’s super important to get used to these events! I believe that it’s an obstacle that I need to go through. (Side note: I don’t know why I always think this placement is not “actually” working — the work I do is very much “actual” work, but maybe it doesn’t feel real that I am “actually” working because I’m still a student? It still hasn’t materialised within me?)

I was also juggling with the pop-up related work and those that were not, thus it was busier than usual. Because I believe this pop-up is one of the key events I will experience this year, I have a whole post dedicated to it which you can access from here.

< Polka Dot Launch >

We had another launch for the polka dot collection and I got to design the webpage again, which was very exciting as the photographs for this collection were incredible!

Above is the mockup & Below is the published webpage
